Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience.

Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato).

Tasks: Hoeing crops. Vegetable culling. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Develop work schedules and establish procedures. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs.

Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Supervision: 5-10 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Fertilizer applicator. Harvesters. Seed drill. Sprayer or duster. Tractor.

Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding.
